Snowflakes Snowflakes and even more Snowflakes!

I had such an amazing time at OnStage celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 30th anniversary! The networking, swapping, Make and Takes, and seeing the upcoming new product was a whirlwind of awesomeness!  I can’t wait to show you the upcoming Occasions Catalog! And November has just flown by…what with preparing for OnStage …attending OnStage…and then recovering from OnStage… I felt like I barely took a deep breath before it was Thanksgiving.

My family had a lovely low key gathering for the Holiday but still cooked enough food for a week. And then we went shopping. It wasn’t as mad-capped as it has been in year’s past but we were able to get everything on our list and quite a bit that wasn’t. I even took advantage of the Stampin’ Up! Online Extravaganza! Have you? Saving even more on my favorite paper crafting supplies always puts me in a jolly mood.

My neighbors are busily putting up their Holiday decorations – we have a few neighborhood displays you can probably see from space. We usually start too but my dear hubby decided he wanted to redesign the family’s computer space and it has proved more daunting than he’d anticipated so our decorations will go up next weekend.

The end of November means the end of the Snowflake Showcase promotion, but there is still time to get your hands on these fantastic must haves! I’m still in LOVE with the stamp sets- Snow is Glistening and Happiness Surrounds- and the Snowfall framelits (I mean…TWENTY dies!) in this promotion. The White Velvet Paper sold out quick but the other products are still available until November 30th.

Sending a Snowflake hug in Berry Burst

I’ve been stamping and cutting out snowflakes whenever I can…even for November’s Random Act of Kindness (RAK) cards. I couldn’t help blending the sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in the Holiday Catalog with the Snowfall Thinlit dies and using the In Color Berry Burst.

Sending a Snowflake hug in Berry Burst

I used the Cable Knit Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the Berry Burst cardstock to make this card…Snowflakes aren’t only for Christmas or the Holidays but can be used all Winter.

A close up at the Sending a snowflake hug card's sentiment

I mixed in a little bit of Dazzling Diamonds glitter into the Clear Emboss Powder to give my sentiment a little extra sparkle.
