This year Stampin’ Up! has challenged us to create simple cards using just cardstock, ink, and stamps. For the February Challenge we could use a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP)and make it a birthday theme. On Monday I made a #SimplyStamping birthday card during my Facebook Live. You can watch it here.
I used Whisper White for my card base and the All My Love DSP. I stamped the images on Whisper White in Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick. I used the ‘cake’ from the Amazing Life stamp set. The ‘birthday’ and ‘wishes’ is from the upcoming More Than Words stamp set that is apart of the Sale-A-Bration Coordination Limited Time Product release starting March 1st.
I created the dual color ‘wishes’ with two separate stamps. I first stamped the the full ‘wishes’ in Flirty Flamingo and then stamped over it with the halved ‘wishes’ image in Lovely Lipstick. The stamp set is photopolymer so it lined up nicely.
I finished the card by fussy cutting out a flower from the All My Love DSP and used a Stampin’ Dimensional to pop it up in the corner.
You can get all these products and the More Than Words that will be available starting March 1st in my Online Store.
