I absolutely love this month’s Distinktive Paper Pumpkin’s stamp set, Sentimental Rose. While I was still waiting for my Pre-Pre-Order from OnStage I enjoyed sharing the April Paper Pumpkin Kit on my Facebook Live. You can watch the replay here.
Start with a Gray Granite cs card base. Cut a Flirty Flamingo cs panel, emboss it with the Lace embossing folder and then glue it to the card base.
Cut the Very Vanilla cs and Gray Granite cs layers. Stamp the rose and leaf images from the Sentimental Rose stamp set in Gray Granite ink on the Very Vanilla cs panel. Color the rose with the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with the Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the rose petals. Glue the stamped and colored Very Vanilla cs layer to the Gray Granite cs layer and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the layers to the card front.
Stamp the sentiment for the Sentimental Rose stamp set on the Very Vanilla cs banner. Use Paper Snips to flag the end and then use Tear & Tape to add ribbon to the bottom edge of the banner (I used the new Scalloped Lace Trim ribbon). With Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the sentiment banner to the image layer. Color rhinestones with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend and add them to the sentiment banner to finish the card.
Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs panel to write your message. I stamped and colored a rose and leaves on the inside panel and a leaf on the back of the card to pull the theme through.
