Mixed Florals Bundle With Effervescent Elements Centers Card

Card Measurements and Supply List with the printable PDF with the clickable (Print Recipe) link for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I have another lovely card using the new Online Exclusive Mixed Florals bundle, I’m so enjoying coloring & creating with these beautiful floral images. For this card I pulled out my retired Shimmery Crystal Effects and my retired Effervescent Elements. I added the multi-sized beads to the flowers centers to create a fun textured element that made the flower centers the card’s focal point.

Start with a Fresh Freesia cardstock card base. Cut an Old Olive cardstock panel and a Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels to the card base.

Die cut a Basic White cardstock stitched circle with Stylish Shapes dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Memento Black ink on the top left side of the stitched circle. Stamp the large daisy image from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Die cut out the colored image with the Mixed Florals dies. Add Shimmery Crystal Effects to the centers of the flowers and then gently dip the flower centers into the container of Effervescent Elements so that the beads adhered to the die cut flowers. Set the flower aside until the Shimmery Crystal Effects until completely dried.

Glue the stitched circle to the the card front. Use glue to add the dried die cut flowers to the card front overlapping the stitched circle on the card front. Tie a small bow with the Fresh Freesia Seam Binding ribbon and use glue dots to add it to the stems of the flowers. Add Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

Cut a Basic White cardstock panel to write your message. Add a strip of Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through. Stamp the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set and the large daisy from the Mixed Florals stamp set in Memento Black ink. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends and add Wink of Stella for sparkle. Glue the inside panel into the card.
