Have A Hoot Anniversary Card

I just love this super cute Have A Hoot Bundle from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. I have a lovely Anniversary card using these super cute owls by masking off the mistletoe with a sticky note and adding texture with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Start with a Coastal Cabana cs card base and dry emboss the front with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Cut a Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper panel. Dampen the panel with your Water Painter. Then add a soft color wash of Pacific Point ink, Coastal Cabana ink, Highland Heather ink, and Magenta Madness ink to the panel with your Water Painter. Let completely dry.

Die cut a large Coastal Cabana cs label and a smaller Whisper White cs label die cut with Hippo & Friends dies. Dry emboss the Coastal Cabana cs label with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Stamp the image from the Have A Hoot stamp set using a sticky note to cover the mistletoe part of the image in Memento Black ink (remember to remove the sticky note) on the Whisper White cs label. Color the branch with the Dark Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Blend. Stamp the image again in Memento Black ink on a piece of Whisper White cs scrap. Color the owls with Stampin’ Blends and then die cut the image out with the Peek-A-Hoot dies.

When the Watercolor wash is completely dry stamp the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Memento Black ink in the right bottom corner. Use Stampin’ Seal to add the embossed Coastal Cabana cs label to the watercolor wash panel. Wrap the panel with Magenta Madness In Color ribbon and tie in a knot to the left side of the panel.

Add the stamped Whisper White cs label to the embossed Coastal Cabana cs label overlapping the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the die cut owls over the stamped image on the Whisper White cs label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the Watercolor wash panel to the card front with foam adhesive strips. Add Artistry Blooms sequins around the owls and add Wink of Stella to the owls eyes for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set in Memento Black ink on the inside panel. I also added an embossed Coastal Cabana cs strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
