Today I have a lovely card sketch from my fellow Glimmer Gal Team member Theresa. And of course I had to use the Everything is Rosy Product Medley.
For this clean and simple card start with a Night of Navy cs card base. Cut a Night of Navy cs panel and dry emboss it with the retiring Simply Stripes embossing folder. Cut a 4 1/2″ of piece of the Melon Mambo ribbon from the Everything is Rosy Project Medley, wrap it around the middle of the embossed Night of Navy panel, secure the ends on the back with glue dots and then glue the panel to the card base.
Cut the Melon Mambo cs and Everything is Rosy DSP panels, glue them together and then glue them to the card base overlapping the ribbon. Tie a bow in the ribbon and attach it with glue dots over the wrapped ribbon and next to the DSP layers. Add dots of Rose Gold Shimmer paint to the centers of a flower punch out from the Everything is Rosy Product Medley. I used the end of my scoring stylus to make the dots. Use Wink of Stella to add sparkle to the flower petals. Attach the flower to the top left corner of the DSP layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a Shimmery White paper sentiment panel and stamp the sentiment from the Everything is Rosy stamp set in Melon Mambo ink. Use paper snips to flag the end and attach it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the bottom right of the card front so it overlaps the DSP layers. Add dots of Rose Gold Shimmer paint to the sentiment layer.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I added strips of DSP to the inside panel and the back of the card to pull the theme through.
