Glimmer Gals Team January Sketch Challenge – Parisian Birthday Card

I’ve always looked forward to Sale-A-Bration as a customer and as a Demonstrator. Sale-A-Bration has always been one of my favorite times of the Stampin’ Up! year! I love free stuff and Stampin’ Up! always has so many fun and lovely products to earn.

For my Glimmer Gals Team January Sketch Challenge card I used the gorgeous Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP paired with the Happy Birthday To You Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set.

Start with a Pool Party cs card base. Cut a Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel and glue it to the card base. Cut Champagne Foil panel and a Whisper White cs panel.

Stamp the cake image from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Memento Black ink so it is slightly off the Whisper White cs panel. Color the cake and stand with the Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers on the cake for sparkle. Glue the stamped Whisper White cs panel to the Champagne Foil panel and then glue the panel at an angle in the center of card front.

Cut the Whisper White cs banner and stamp the sentiment from the Little Ladybugs stamp set in Memento Black ink. Use the Banner Triple punch or your paper snips to flag the sentiment banner. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the stamped sentiment flagged banner across the cake.

Make a bow with the Petal Pink metal edged ribbon and use glue dots to attach it under the banner on the card front. Add Champagne rhinestones to the cake image.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also stamped the sentiment and added a specialty DSP strip to the inside panel and back of the card to pull the theme through.
