Animal Expedition Sweet Treats

You can use Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper to make the cutest chocolate wrappers. I made some super cute floral and butterfly themed wrapped Hershey Nuggets for the craft fair.

You can use any of the Stampin’ Up! DSP as wrappers. The lightweight DSP is easier to work with than the heavyweight DSP. You can use the heavyweight DSP but you will need to use a bone folder to work the DSP so it curls making it easier to wrap the candy.

* 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm)

I played with the Animal Expedition DSP and made these adorable sweet treats.

I wrapped three different sizes – a regular sized Hershey bar, a snack sized Hershey bar, and some Hershey Nuggets.

Use glue dots to wrap the chocolate bar with the DSP – but place the glue dots on the bottom edge of the top layer of DSP – so the DSP is attached to itself and not the candy – regardless of the candy size.

For the regular sized chocolate bar I used the Everyday Label punch to create a tag stamped with the sentiment from the Tabs For Everything stamp set and tied a bow with the Old Olive Linen Thread. Punch a circle out of the DSP, punch a vellum leaf with the Leaf Punch, and color a rhinestone with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend to finish the tag.

The Hershey Nuggets fit nicely into the Stampin’ Up! 2″ x 8″ Cellophane Bags. I used 4 nuggets and then snipped the excess off of the top of bag.

The Circle Tab Punch and the Tabs For Everything stamp set are perfect for these cute nugget treat bags. Stamp, punch, and staple a Circle Tab Punch to the cello bag. Punch a circle out of the DSP, a vellum leaf, and color a rhinestone with the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend to finish the cute packaging.

For the Snack sized candy I punched only half of the circle and sniped the stamped Circle Tab Punch tab in half to create the tag.

I wrapped some Old Olive Linen Thread, punched a vellum leaf, and colored a rhinestone with the Dark Stampin’ Blend to finish the tag.
