Vellum and The Stampin’ Blends Make a Lovely Combination With The Humming Along Bundle

I pulled out my Humming Along bundle to make this birthday card for a fabulous friend who loves Hummingbirds. I embossed the images with Silver embossing powder on Vellum cardstock. Then I colored the back of the vellum with my Stampin’ Blends.

I was thrilled that I was able to achieve a watercolor look with the Blends. I then used the Hummingbird Framelit dies to cut them out. I found some of the Retired Galvanized Metallic Paper to layer on the card base – you can easily substitute a piece of Silver Foil Sheet dry embossed with the Subtle embossing folder for the layer. I first stamped the sentiment on Whisper White cs layer and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Subtle embossing folder.

I glued the layers building the card front then added the flower and hummingbird. I traced the sentiment with Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.

The lovely Humming Along images embossed and colored beautifully with the Stampin’ Blends. You can get the supplies for this card in my Online Store now.
