I just love the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper, especially the grumpy cat! I couldn’t resist fussy cutting her out, and making her the star of her own card.
PLAYFUL PETS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER

Start with a Flirty Flamingo cs card base. Cut a Crumb Cake cs panel and dry emboss it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Cut a Playful Pets DSP strip and glue it to the embossed Crumb Cake cs panel. Wrap the embossed panel across the DSP strip with the new Metallic Mesh ribbon from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog using Stampin’ Seal to secure the ends to the back of the panel and then glue it to the card front.
Die cut out a Basic Black cs scalloped circle with the Layering Circles dies and Basic Black cs letters M,O, W, and ! with the Playful Alphabet dies. Die cut a Flirty Flamingo cs circle with the Layering Circle dies and a Flirty Flamingo cs letter E with the Playful Alphabet dies. Die cut out an E shaped foam piece from the Foam Adhesive Sheets with the Playful Alphabet dies.
Add the Flirty Flamingo cs E to the foam E. Spell Meow out across the top of the card front using glue to adhere the letters and sticking the self-adhesive foam E. Add Wink of Stella to the E for sparkle.
Fussy cut out the grumpy cat from the Playful Pets DSP and glue it to the Flirty Flamingo cs circle. Add Wink of Stella to the cat’s collar/ribbon and her eyes for sparkle. Glue the Flirty Flamingo cs circle to the Basic Black cs scalloped circle and then use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach them to the card front centered over the wrapped DSP strip. Tie a small bow from the Metallic Mesh ribbon and use glue dots to attach it to the wrapped ribbon to the left of the circles. Add rhinestones to the card front and the dot of the exclamation point.
Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set in Memento Black ink and added a DSP strip to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
