Stampin’ Up!® Brightly Gleaming Christmas Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

The gorgeous Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper is a returning favorite in the August- December 2020 that is now retiring & on Sale while supplies last. I was excited to see it back this year because it makes creating Christmas cards an easy pleasure. Today I made a lovely card with the ornament sheets of the Specialty DSP and paired it with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies & Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

Start with a Pretty Peacock cs card base. Cut a Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP panel. Wrap the DSP panel with a piece of Old Olive/ Pretty Peacock 3/8″ Reversible ribbon and use Stampin’ Seal + to secure the ends to the back of the panel. Glue the wrapped panel to the card base.

Die cut a Very Vanilla cs label and Brushed Metallic Cardstock (Copper) label with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Stamp the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the Very Vanilla cs label.

Use Stampin’ Seal + to add the stamped Very Vanilla cs label to the Copper label. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the labels to the center of the card front overlapping the ribbon. Add Champagne Rhinestones to the label for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Very Vanilla cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp seton in Pretty Peacock ink and add a strip of Specialty DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.

Don’t forget to stamp your envelope!
