Stampin’ Up!® Bat Tab Slider Halloween Card

Card Measurements, Supply List, and printable PDF tutorial for this project are found at the bottom of this blog post.

I have a fun Bat Tab Slider Card to share just in time for Halloween. I used the gorgeous Magic In The Night DSP and the Hallows Night Magic bundle to create this card. You can watch my Facebook Live Replay here and here (the internet went down in the middle) or watch it on my YouTube Channel below.

Start with a Basic Black cs card base. Cut the Thick Whisper White cs panel, Magic In This Night DSP panel, and the Basic Black cs slider panel. Add Black Memento Black ink to the edges of the Thick Whisper White cs with a stamping sponge wedge. Glue the DSP panel to the Thick Whisper White cs panel. Use the Classic Label Punch to punch the slider track down the left side of the panels.

Add the foam adhesive strips on the three sides of the back of the front panel around the Basic Black cs slider panel. Be sure the Basic Black cs slider panel covers the slide track fully. Add the pennies with Stampin’ Dimensionals – cut down a Stampin’ Dimensional to attach the pennies together on opposite sides of the track at the very bottom and then attach the inside penny to the Basic Black cs slider pane. Make sure the Basic Black cs slider panel is even with the top of the card & loosely fits & slides easily within the pocket made with the foam adhesive strips. Punch the pull tab opening at the top of the card front with your 1″ circle punch (punched half way). Punch a hole at the top of the Basic Black cs slider panel even with the pull tab notch (or use a stapler to attach your ribbon). Loop though a piece of Black Glittered Organdy ribbon for the pull.

Punch two Thick Whisper White cs labels with the Label Me Lovely punch. Cut down one of the labels with your paper snips. Add Black Memento Black ink with the stamping sponge wedge to both labels. Add the slimmer cut down label to the top of the outside penny with a Black Stampin’ Dimensional.

Stamp the sentiment from the Banner Year stamp set in Memento Black on the full label and add it to right side of the Basic Black cs panel slide. Be sure that when you slide the panel in & out you don’t see the label.

Die cut Black Glitter Paper bats with the Halloween Magic Dies. Use glue or glue dots to add the bats to the card front and slide. Be sure that the bats don’t interfere with the slide.

Add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I also sponged Memento Black ink to the panel’s edges. I stamped the sentiment from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set in Memento Black ink and added a small Black Glitter bat. I also added a strip of DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through.
