Hello Teacup Petal Promenade DSP Card

I may have gotten a bit carried away making teacups. Once I got started with my Stampin’ Blends I just kept going. I stamped the teacup from the 2019 Occasions catalog Tea Together Cling Stamp Set (page 49) in Lovely Lipstick and then cut it out with the Sale-A-Bration Tea Time Framelit dies.

I used a small piece of washi tape or a Post- it- Note to secure the framelit over the teacup image before rolling it through the Big Shot. I like to cut out the images before I color them with my Stampin’ Blends as it robs my joy when I don’t perfectly cut out the image after my coloring efforts.

I used a Whisper White cs cardbase with an embossed with the Subtle embossing folder Lovely Lipstick cs layer. Then I layered a piece of Petal Promenade DSP with a layer of Vellum cs on top to soften the DSP color. I wrapped a piece of Calypso Coral Satin ribbon around the cardfront and then added other knotted piece to make a lovely knot bow.

I cut out some flourishes in Calypso Coral cs and Vellum cs to build the card front behind the Lovely Lipstick teacup that was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick on Whisper White cs and then cut it out with the Stitched Label framelits. I shortened the stamped and cut piece with my paper snips and added it to the card front below the ribbon.

To finish the card I added a Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend colored flower on the teacup with a clear rhinestone.
