Happy Tails By The Bay Card

Monday the Dogs – Happy Tails Bundle – won over the Cats- Nine Lives stamp set – in my Facebook Live poll. I had fun creating this Keep Calm and Wag On puppy card pairing it with the 2019 Sale-A-Bration By The Bay Cling stamp set. You can watch my Facebook Live here.

For this Crumb Cake card base I chose to have it open up instead of out cutting it at 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and folding it at 5 1/2″.

I stamped paw prints in Early Espresso on the lower left hand side of the Wood Textures DSP layer and then glued it to the Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the house/wall/sea image in black on Very Vanilla CS and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends. I also stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla in Early Espresso and added a paw print to the lower left hand edge. I ran the Silver Foil layers through the Big Shot with the Subtle embossing folder, layered them behind the stamped Very Vanilla pieces, and then glued them to the card front.

I stamped the puppy in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla CS and then added the spots. I punched out the puppy with the Dog Builder punch and then stamped the collar on the puppy. I punched out a heart from the embossed Silver Foil with the Dog Builder punch and added it to the puppy’s collar with a glue dot. I attached the puppy with Stampin’ Dimensionals – making sure the puppy’s tail overlapped the sentiment. To finish the card front I added Wink of Stella to the water image and on the puppy’s eye for sparkle.

Don’t forget to stamp paw prints on the Very Vanilla inside piece and on the back of the card (so it’s not naked).
