Lovely & Beautiful Fabulous Sayings Cards

I’ve been enjoying the new Product of the Month program that Stampin’ Up! has started. I hope you have too! The January Product of the Month is a wonderful sentiment stamp set called Fabulous Sayings. If you missed getting it last month you can still get it for $5 with a $75 qualifying order. I created these two quick but lovely cards using the Fabulous Sayings stamp set with the gorgeous Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Start with a Calypso Coral cardstock card base. Cut a Petal Pink cardstock panel and a Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper panel. Glue the panels together and then wrap the panels with Old Olive Specialty RickRack using Tear & Tape to secure the ends on the back of the panels. Glue the wrapped panels to the card base.

Cut a Calypso Coral cardstock strip and glue it down the right side of the card front dipping under the wrapped RickRack. Cut the three Basic White cardstock sentiment panels and then stamp the same sentiment from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set on each of them in Calypso Coral ink. Use Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the sentiment panels over the Calypso Coral cardstock strip down the card front. Tie a small bow in the Old Olive Specialty RickRack and use a glue dot and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to add the bow to the left side of the card front overlapping the wrapped RickRack. Add Holographic Resin dots to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to the write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set in Calypso Coral ink. Add a strip of Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I also fussy cut out flowers from the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper to add to the inside of the card.

Card Measurements:
Calypso Coral cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Petal Pink cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Calypso Coral cs strip – 1/2″ x 3 1/2″.
Basic White cs sentiments – three at 3/4″ x 1 1/8″ .
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP flowers – fussy cut.
DSP = Designer Series Paper

Cut a Basic White cardstock sentiment panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on the sentiment panel. Gently tear the top edge of the stamped sentiment panel. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals and glue dots to add the sentiment panel to the card front slightly overlapping the wrapped ribbon. Tie a small bow with the Iridescent Striped Trim and then tie a second bow with white Baker’s Twine to the first bow. Use glue dots to add the bows to the card front overlapping the wrapped ribbon under the sentiment. Add Pearls of Beauty to the card front.

Add a Basic White cardstock inside panel to write your message. Stamp the sentiment from the Words of Beauty stamp set in Calypso Coral ink. Add a strip of Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper to the inside and back of the card to pull theme through.

Calypso Coral cs card base – 11″ x 4 1/4″ scored at 5 1/2″.
Petal Pink cs panel – 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.
Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP panel – 5 1/4″ x 4″ plus two 1/2″ x 4″ strips.
Basic White cs sentiment panel – 1 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ with torn top edge.
Basic White cs inside panel – 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″.
