Parisian Blossoms Happy Birthday To You Card

I adore the decadence of this gorgeous Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP. I couldn’t help using it as a background panel for this lovely birthday cake from the Sale-A- Bration Happy Birthday To You stamp set. The Coordination Product Birthday Dies makes using this fabulous stamp set even easier.

Start with a Petal Pink cs card base. Cut a Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP panel and glue it to the card base.

Die cut out a Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum cs label with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Use Snail to attach the Petal Pink Vellum label to the center of the card front.

Stamp the cake image from the Happy Birthday To You Stamp set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cs twice. Use the Birthday Dies to die cut out 1 cake image and 1 of just the flowers. Use your Paper Snips to cut off the cake stand from the die cut cake and cut free one flower from flower die cut. Color the images with the Stampin’ Blends. Add Wink of Stella to the flowers for sparkle.

Die cut out a cake stand and sprigs from Champagne Foil sheets with the Birthday Dies.

Cut a Whisper White cs sentiment panel and then stamp the sentiment from the Special Someone stamp set in Memento Black ink. Use the Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend to color the sentiment panel’s edges.

Cut a small piece of Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon, use glue dots to form a loop, attach a Champagne foil sprig, and then add it to the back of the cake image. Use a glue dot to add the other Champagne foil sprig next to the ribbon/sprig on the back of the cake. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the cake to the card front centered on the Petal Pink Vellum label. Use mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to attach the Champagne Foil cake stand to the bottom of the cake.

Add the single flower to the cake image on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use the Shimmery Crystal Effects to add dimension to the berries and flower buds on the cake image (be careful as it will take a few minutes for them to dry).

Add the sentiment panel across the cake image and Specialty DSP panel using mini Stampin’ Dimensionals – double stack the mini dimensional on the panel side so that the sentiment panel lays flat. Add Champagne rhinestones around the cake for sparkle.

Don’t forget to add a Whisper White cs inside panel to write your message. I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration Sending You Thoughts stamp set and added strips of Specialty DSP to the inside and back of the card to pull the theme through. I also glued the remaining flower die cut to the inside panel.
